Bonnie Strauss of LA, may be one of the most amazing designers ever. Her designs reflect the ultimate in feminine style, not only enhancing a woman's beauty but somehow reaching beyond the surface to the true essence of the feminine spirit. Deciding which pieces to feature was probably one of the hardest editorial decisions I have ever had to make.

All handmade, her designs are ethereal and in some ways almost ghostly, incurring a beauty rarely seen elsewhere in the fashion industry with a nod to the Flappers as well as the Victorian era.

And talk about unique, let's add a little fringe for the leather and lace freaks like me who can't get enough of this type of thing.

Strauss also creates handmade jewelry pieces with a touch of the feminine exotic.

For those wanting a more contemporary look, neither does Strauss disappoint in this department as this beauty demonstrates.

Strauss herself is not without an ethereal quality, angelic in her looks and demeanor. Oddly, she has no website; she works from her Facebook page. She sells her line to select retailers and she also sells directly to the public.

Spirited Summer Pieces from Givenchy

If you can get beyond the haunting, minimalistic faces of this entire show while ignoring the shoes as well, the pieces themselves are exquisitely spirited. A select few even had an Atlantis or Utopian feel to them.

The light, lacy, slinky lingerie look predominating the line shows a freshly feminine perspective that would flatter most any woman and has been missing for some time in today's fashions. We loved this line. We also did very much enjoy and appreciate the cultural diversity among the models.
